Honey Hill Inn Engagement – Gabrielle & Matt

Who else is dreaming of spring? Even with my love for all things scarves, sweaters, boots, and warm lattes — I’m excited for the buds on the trees to start blooming and the soft breeze/warm sun that spring brings. This past summer I had such a great time photographing Gabrielle and Matt’s engagement session at Honey Hill Inn in Asheville. As I was going through preparing my “year in review” post (yes, I am officially working on this), I realized I never blogged their images in the whirlwind that was my summer. Not only are these two ridiculously sweet, the images make me SO happy as an official reminder that Spring is right around the corner! So for now, wrap yourself up in a blanket, grab yourself a hot drink, and I hope these cuties bring you some warm fuzzies. So ecstatic to photograph their wedding in California this May! Hanover Park Vineyard Wedding – Brett & Anna

I loved so much about Anna & Brett’s wedding day and the ceremony/reception barn space at Hanover Park Vineyard is seriously swoon-worthy! I really loved that Brett mixed it up with his grooms attire – that bowtie and tweed jacket? Perfect for fall and so dapper! The warmth of the sun was so inviting as the air had a bit of a chill – and it also made for gorgeous sun-flarey pictures (yes please!) When Anna’s sister sang at the ceremony, I got chills and the room was filled with tears. Seriously so personal and heartfelt. The reception decor and floral arrangements by Green Bee Floral Designs were such a treat to photograph and fit perfectly with Anna & Brett’s vision for the day. Perfect Pair Events did such a great job styling the space and were a joy to work throughout the whole experience. The first time we met Anna mentioned the guests would be having FUN at the reception and boy did they not disappoint! A huge thank you to Kelly Rae for capturing this day with me! Penland Tree Farm Engagement – Sean & Julie

We met on one of the coldest days this area has seen in awhile – but it was barely noticeable with how sweet and fun we had during the session! There is something so magical about the light when the crisp air meets the glowing winter sunshine. Sean proposed to Julie during the holidays while they were chopping down their Christmas tree – so they thought it would be fun to head back to the farm for their engagement session.
