*Guilty Pleasure* Wednesday

*Ta Da!* I’ve decided to start a weekly Wednesday posting about none other than the wonderful things in life that make up my *guilty pleasures* I mean, we ALL have them (some more embarrassing than others), but I’d like to take the time to share a little bit about what makes me oh-so-happy! I hope some of you can relate and agree with some of the items that are on my growing list, so feel free to comment and let me know I’m not alone!:-)And heck, if I am the only one, that only makes me more unique, …. right?

So for my very first *Guilty Pleasure* Wednesday post, I’ve decided to post about my love of TELEVISION SHOWS! While some people like to go out and celebrate after a huge assignment or busy work day, nothing brings more joy to my life than getting in comfortable clothing, snuggling on my couch, and watching HOURSSS of “mindless” television.  Just writing this is bringing a warmth of relaxation rushing through me ….. *sigh* I basically have a weekly “schedule” of shows that are MUSTS. I think poor husband has watched just about enough Glee, BRAVO, American Idol, and Gossip Girl to last a lifetime! Although sometimes I think he secretly enjoys watching my shows,…. but he won’t admit it lol. There are embarrassingly SO many more I could have added to the mix below, but I thought I’d give you a little glimpse into what I’m pretty much routinely watching each week. Anyone else get lost in television as a relax method?

Catrina - The best part is when your boyfriend does secretly enjoy watching the same shows :) I love when he records them even when I forget to and makes me wait to watch it with him! It really is one of his better qualities. With that being said he also loves that I watch Sunday Football with him too and probably even know more of what is going on.
Modern Family is one of the greatest comedies in a long time to be on the air. We laugh so hysterically during that show. We have such an addiction to tv in this house that we have two tivos that are almost always full. We are usually duo recording on both of them during prime time and still have to sometimes catch stuff online. Our must see’s are Survivor, The Good Wife, Modern Family, Grey’s and Private Practice, Desperate Housewives and Army Wives, American Idol, So You Think You can Dance and Big Brother. I have many more must sees but those are the ones we watch together..Shhh don’t tell anyone but he also likes Gossip Girl :)

Brie & Matthew ~ Engagement

I hope you got the chance to look at their *sneak peek* post (see below) – I was SO excited to showcase a little glimpse of this fabulous session with such a beautiful and loving couple! I was also ecstatic when they asked if we could do the session in Yorktown, not only is it a beautiful and historic area, but Brie has many fond memories of growing up there! I even got to see her favorite tree from childhood! It’s moments like these that I have to pinch myself to make sure I’m not dreaming. I LOVE this job. More than words could EVERRRR express. I love getting to know my clients and capturing such pure and beautiful moments. Each image tells a story, and for Bri & Matthew, it’s about the love and excitement for your upcoming wedding. We had SUCH a blast exploring Yorktown. It was such a unique experience getting to shoot in so many awesome locations. Oh and did I mention Brie was *CRAFTY?* She decoupaged that super-neato “B” ! My kind of bride!!! She also brought along some fun balloons for the shoot:-)Brie & Matthew, thank you for being just plain awesome and fun — especially being so open to trying out lots of different things! There is lots more I could say, but I guess I’ll let the images doing the talking. Enjoy <3

Spring Fever

I used to think fall was my absolute FAVORITE season ….. but Spring this year has definitely been such a contender! All of the beautiful trees/flowers in bloom, the soft pitter-patter of rain at night, and the fresh wind that I feel when I step out on the balcony in the early morning. Most of all, LOVE is in the air. Take a look at my first “stop motion” video from Brie & Matthew’s engagement session. So much happiness and love. Spring has most def. arrived <3
