Sydney + Andrew ~ Engagement

Happy Monday! I have JUST the images to start off your week with a dose of happiness and overflowing love! I could say SO much about our beautiful North Carolina *spring* engagement shoot! Sydney grew up riding horses so you can imagine my delight when she e-mailed me about capturing their engagement images at the horse farm in which she spent much of her youth and young adulthood riding and training! Even though it was our first time meeting, spending the afternoon with Sydney and Andrew felt like catching up with old friends. I felt extremely honored to get to know them and their relationship in such a personal way. Their love is genuine and sweet – and I just love the way they look at each other with such affection. We incorporated their interests of picnics and wine making/tasting – but they love all things travel and outdoors. They are backpacking across Europe for their honeymoon! Not only did I get to spend the afternoon with Sydney and Andrew, but I loved all the curious and loving animals that would stop by and say hello (and eat our props!) What more could a photographer ask for? A beautiful couple on the inside and out, a horse farm in a quaint North Carolina town, and an open field with a glowing sunset and dandelion puffs swirling around our feet with every step! I hope you find these images as magical as the engagement session was to capture! I really really had the hardest time narrowing these down for the blog – phew! Sydney and Andrew, I loved getting to know you both and I can’t wait for your wedding in a few months! Also a huge thank you to Carol at Shea Rose Farm – it was lovely meeting you and all the beautiful animals! Enjoy!

Woweee! Today’s engagement session was filled with love, laughter, picnics, horses, and fields – and did I mention one of the cutest couples ever? I’m almost speechless! I cannot wait to show you all the fun and details that filled our Sunday afternoon. What could be better than engagement pictures that include horse farms and wide open fields? I had to hold back from posting more than what I did in this sneak (it was SO hard!) Make sure to stop by and see their big post! Thanks for such a lovely afternoon Sydney & Andrew – I can’t wait for your wedding!
