Mark ~ Charlotte Senior Portraits

Fall must be in the air. You know why? Mark officially started his senior year this past week! (congrats!!!) And I also found out that Starbucks is bringing back the pumpkin spiced latte September 5th, … whoohoo fall ! For those of you that know me, it’s totally my favorite season of the ENTIRE year. Sorry to get sidetracked there lol. Anywayyyyy,  Mark and I ventured out into Old Town Fort Mill (South Carolina) to shoot his senior portraits. He’s a total natural in front of the camera (I mean SERIOUSLY!) — if the sun hadn’t disappeared, we would have shot for hours! He has such an easy going/kind demeanor and we had lots of laughs as he liked to strike random funny faces throughout the session! What’s really fun is that Mark is super interested in photography (well, videography to be exact) – but he has a good understanding of camera functions, light, and lenses. It was nice to talk all about the field and his future – he’s definitely going places!!! Mark, I super enjoyed our session and your family is the sweetest ever. Really. Thank you for always making me feel like part of the family! Cheers to a wonderful last year of high school and may you always chase your dreams (and make them a reality!) I had a really hard time narrowing these down – I told ya he was a natural in front of the camera — enjoy!!

Eric & Misty ~ Uptown Charlotte Engagement

From the moment I met Eric & Misty months ago during our first consultation, I knew we were a perfect fit. Misty walked in with open arms and gave me the biggest hug and smile I’ve ever seen! They carry this warmth throughout their relationship and their love is extremely evident by the way they look at one another. One of my favorite parts about being a wedding photographer is being able to capture the unique connection for couples to have/hold/and reflect on for years to come. Oh how I LOVE how much Eric & Misty make each other laugh. It’s infectious and oh-so adorable!! We met in Uptown Charlotte on a gorgeous golden-sunny evening (and ya’ll know how much I love my golden sunlight). It’s been pretty warm around this city so we ran around the park, hopping in and out of the shade. We then headed on over to the EpiCenter to finish off the engagement session at The Mez, a super cool uptown location where they shared a first date. Thank you both SO much for allowing me to capture the beauty you share with one another – thank you for the gift of friendship, laughter, and being so so inviting (love those hugs!) I cannot WAIT for your upcoming wedding! xox!

Emilia Jane - They are so cute and this session is so sweet!! Loooooove the martinis. XXOO

Jennifer Davis - I love the glitzy ones – great transition from the casual outfits. Usually couples do a couple or few different casual outfits and I love that these show both sides – laid back and out on the town! I love the black and white escalator one and the one in color with them kissing on the escalator is a knock-out. Way to go!

Hailey ~ Senior Portrait *Sneak Peek*

We roamed the country side of South Carolina in search of fields & pretty light. We had fun laughing & chatting as we ran around escaping from crawly bugs and biting ants! Wanted to post a sneak peek of our adventures – more soon! xox

Kari tench - Beautiful! & pretty pretty light!
