Anna Katherine & Denny ~ Fort Mill Engagement

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! As soon as I got back from our holiday travels to Ohio (more on this later), I jumped on my computer and edited my little heart out. I’ve been looking forward to finishing up this session – and I’m excited to be sharing it tonight! This session was so laid back – full of laughs and conversation. We walked around the forests of South Carolina on a what might have been the last of the warm afternoons of fall. After meeting with Anna Katherine multiple times for coffee chats about all things wedding & life, I was really excited to meet Denny in person! They are the perfect balance for one another and I love how much Denny & Anna Katherine adore each other. Their relationship has the perfect mix of sweetness & humor. We spent much of the session reliving some of their favorite memories together – and I got to learn all about southern college football ! I am so looking forward to their upcoming wedding (December 8th!) so make sure you check back in soon for more of these cuties. Rachel & Brandon ~ Drees Pavilion Wedding

It’s funny – I fell in love with Cincinnati Ohio more during this visit than I did when I lived there for a year. I really enjoyed photographing Rachel & Brandon’s engagement & wedding all around the streets of Kentucky & Cincinnati. This wedding was close to my heart as Rachel and I went to undergrad together – she has watched my business grow and develop from the very start. When she messaged me a year and a half ago exclaiming they were newly engaged and wanted me to photograph their beautiful and special day, I was WAY excited and honored. Rachel is the sweetest ever and I REALLY enjoyed getting to know Brandon during this trip. They are perfect for each other in every way. Fall was just starting to bloom all around the hills of Kentucky, so we were thrilled when the morning of her wedding the tree tops were lined with speckles of red, yellow, and orange leaves. Thank you to Rachel & Brandon for having me fall in love with that city in a way I never thought possible (my heart still belongs to the Browns though!) And a very special thanks to Lauren Tomasella for helping me tell the story of their wedding day! (it was such a surprise/joy you happened to be in town that weekend!) Aislinn ~ Hudson Ohio Senior Photographer

Happy Sunday everyone! As much as I would have liked to say I enjoyed that extra hour of sleep that daylight savings brought, I think I woke up way earlier than I would have before the switch! It’s been a relaxing, productive, and super cozy Sunday, so I won’t complain! Before I head off to an engagement session this afternoon (YaY!) I wanted to share some of my favorites of the senior session I did with Aislinn while I was in Hudson, Ohio last month! Gosh I feel like I get SO lucky with such wonderful people I get to meet and photograph. Aislinn is such a super sweet, kind, and passionate girl. She is SO excited for all the adventures of college next year! And a huge huge applause to Aislinn as she has been getting accepted to all her top picks for college! You go girl !! Can you believe she kept saying she was nervous throughout the session? You rocked it ! I loved loved loved this session and it was the most PERFECT fall day! The colors made me squeal with happiness!! Thank you Aislinn for being so awesome to photograph and putting up with the WIND that day! You are beautiful on the inside & out and I hope you enjoy the rest of your senior year at Hudson! Keep smiling and I wish you all the best when you start COLLEGE in the fall!
