I think I’ve started this post four different times. It might be five… (or seven) by the time it actually gets officially published to the blog. There are so many things I want to shout from the rooftops of how special this day was, but literally no words come to mind that would do it justice. I had the same issue while trying to explain their engagement session. Being around John & Shelby, especially on a day such as their wedding, there are just no words to describe their love and soulful demeanor. Most brides would be worried about the weather radar showing upcoming storms about the time that the ceremony is to begin…. but not Shelby. I’ve never before met a bride so cool, calm, collected… and simply happy! It’s obvious how much she just wanted to soak in each and every moment of the day – and if that meant rain during her wedding ceremony, so be it. I posted one of the (below) images to my facebook business page with a caption that read “life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about getting married in the middle of the rain.” And it’s so true. Getting married in the rain was a beautiful way to start their marriage and life journey together – that they’ll “weather” any storm that life brings them, hand-in-hand, together. So to any bride that wants to get married in the middle of a rain storm? Bring it on, … plus it looks magical in pictures. This is real life, real happenings, real love. Yes the scenery at high hampton inn is gorgeous, and Shelby is simply STUNNING, but it’s the complete day from start to finish that really show how special it was. I loved their entire wedding day so much I felt a weird loss when I was done editing. There were originally 200 images I wanted to share to this blog post, so it’s taken me a few days to narrow them down.
