Shelby & John were originally not going to do an engagement session. He was supposed to be out of the country right up until their wedding but as luck would have it, he didn’t end up leaving so just 10 days before their wedding, we met up and photographed their last days as an engaged couple. There are so many things and emotions I could write about, but when I try to appropriately describe these two and the love that they share, literally no words come to mind. I guess that’s the best kind of love though right? The kind that leaves people speechless. It reminds me of a line from a recent favorite book I read, The Fault In Our Stars – the sentence jumped out at me and it describes I’m feeling about these two … “My thoughts are stars I can’t fathom into constellations.” Their wedding day was one of the most relaxing I’ve ever been part of, even with a rain shower during their ceremony.
