Sawyer Family Farmstead Wedding – Part 1

Oh my goodness. I am so excited to be posting these this afternoon. I tried and tried to whittle the images down into one blog post, but there were too many moments that needed to be shared. Words can’t describe how much I loved Sawyer Family Farmstead which is located in Cashiers, North Carolina. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and at every turn of the property is another gorgeous site to behold. I about squealed when I saw it’s a Christmas Tree farm!!! There really are no words, so I’ll let the images below speak of how gorgeous the space is, which made for an epic wedding site. I loved that Mike & Liz (who live in the Cleveland, Ohio area), chose Sawyer Family Farmstead as their destination wedding location. The day was emotional and happy; their closest friends family and friends came from across the country to witness and celebrate their union and love. So many elements of the wedding were personal, elegant, and rustic. The day was about becoming a new family together and having an awesome laid back celebration that represented them as a couple from start to finish. Even though they had never been photographed by me before, their love is just effortless, and it was such a joy to photograph. With their beautiful love, the gorgeous scenery, and personalized elements, I felt full of inspiration. A huge thank you to Bethany for traveling to the mountains with me and helping capture their special day! Liz & Mike, heart you two so much! Without overwhelming you with just one post, I decided to split them into two parts. So with that, here is part 1 of such a beautiful and emotional day. The rest of the portraits are in Part 2, so stay tuned!

I love that Liz chose to walk up through the Christmas trees to the ceremony site ….

Isn’t their cake topper the cutest?

Stay tuned for Part 2……
